Northway Biotechpharma is a CDMO that offers a number of fully integrated to their clients around the world. They offer services from early-to-late phase clinical trial stages as well as scale up services and commercial manufacturing of injectable drug substance products. To celebrate 15 years of growth, a new website was launched to showcase their track record of performance and high level of trust that the CDMO has established with its customers.

Albemarle provides custom synthesis and manufacturing of APIs, agricultural actives and advanced intermediates for customers in the API pharmaceuticals, agrichemicals, base oil lubricants and specialty chemicals industries. In Spring 2019 they launched a new website that offers a distinct presence from the Albemarle corporate website for customers from the pharmaceutical development market. It carries all information pertinent to customers for custom APIs, intermediates and integrated RSMs.

To highlight their end-to-end capabilities in the development and manufacture of biologics and biosimilars, a new website was launched to provide in-depth information on their expertise and facilities, and to further define their position as both a one-stop-shop CDMO and innovator of our own novel biologics and biosimilars.

Road To BIO (2017)

Road To BIO is a micro site created to advertise That's Nice's literal road to BIO International trade show in San Diego. Team members would undertake a 4,000+ mile journey across America in a Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Roadster, meeting clients, and stopping at roadside attractions along the way. On the lead up to the 12 day trip, a competition was run for members of the public to guess various elements of the road trip with the opportunity to win a prize at the end. Alongside the road trip was a massive email campaign that chronicled the daily exploits of life on the Road to BIO.

Alcami Virtual Lab (2017-2018)

Alcami launched a unique immersive reality experience at AAPS 2016. Visitors were immersed into a virtual reality environment to discover Alcami in 360 sound and vision. The Virtual Lab Experience guided visitors through their lab operations and capabilities. The virtual immersion was a unique experience for visitors to the Alcami trade show booth. It connected those that took part with Alcami integrated outsourcing services from clinical to commercialisation. After the initial success of the trade show booth version, a web-based micro site was created to showcase the 360° video taken at multiple locations.

Servier CDMO (2017-2019)

Servier is France’s leading independent pharmaceutical company, with 21,400 employees in 146 countries. Across 60 years of experience, the business grew to 11 sites worldwide and has commercialized more than 50 molecules. In 2016, Servier decided to engage other pharmaceutical manufacturers and innovators and offer them expansion or outsourcing opportunities through access to capacity at its 11 sites in the form of an embedded CDMO business. For this project I worked closely with the Design Director to create a rich user experience within the confines of HubSpot, creating custom templates, custom modules, integrating video, and a mapping solution to highlight locations around the world.

AlcamiNow (2016-2018)

Alcami is a world-class CDMO, based in North Carolina, specializing in API development and manufacturing, solid state chemistry, formulation development, analytical development and testing services, clinical and commercial finished dosage form manufacturing, packaging and stability services. I was responsible for implementing a modular based homepage design that would allow the Alcami staff to easily update the homepage to reflect items they wished to highlight. This included complex custom modules that easily allowed them to change the look and feel of each section with only a few simple options to make the experience as painless as possible.

That's Nice (2016-2019)

Founded in 1995, That’s Nice has grown into a full-service agency committed to driving value for clients within the life sciences. I joined them in late 2016 and my first task was to implement the transition of their website to HubSpot as well and redesigning the layout to be more user and mobile friendly. To make the content creation side easier I implemented a series of custom modules within HubSpot so a simple template could be reimagined in many different ways to suit the information they wished to display.

Lenovo (2016)

Lenovo Central is the intranet used by all Lenovo employees around the world, and the Human Resources department were looking for ways to update their small portion of that area, as well as increase engagement in the Knowledge Base segment of their space. As this had to be used worldwide, it also had to accommodate Chinese and Japanese language and localization issues. The design went through around 7 iterations all vetted by an internal focus group, as the sole UX Designer it was my responsibility to take the feedback from the focus group and created easily understandable wireframes for approval. Once the final design was approved, it had to adhere to Lenovo's strict branding guidelines.

OMMS (2014-2015)

OMMS (Online Medical Monitoring System) is web and mobile app based application designed to assist 12-20 year olds with chronic illnesses, such as CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) or Diabetes, enhance their disease and treatment-related knowledge through interactive and game-based educational materials, and support adherence to the treatment regimen through notifications via mobile and web-based delivery. I was responsible for the design of the web-based interface as well as certain elements of the Android app.

NC POP (2014-2016)

NC POP (North Carolina Patient Outcomes Platform) is a web application, made in conjunction with the NCCTP (North Carolina Child Treatment Program) and the state of North Carolina, to improve outcomes and steer policy for North Carolina children by facilitating training, clinical practice, fidelity tracking, and outcome tracking of research-Desktop Interfaced interventions starting with trauma-focused clinical behavioral therapy.

My role within this multi-year project was to interpret client needs and rapidly prototype functional user interfaces to speed up the approval process, then assist the development team in creating the app by being the front-end developer and maintaining the design vision from start to finish.

3C Marketplace (2013)

The 3-C Institute for Social Development began as a way to bridge the research-to-practice gap by developing and testing effective, research-supported programs and services that promote social-emotional health and are designed for easy implementation in real-life settings. As they grew they soon realised they had all these great research proven products but no real way of getting them out to the general public at large, the Marketplace would become that way. I was deeply involved in this project from the very beginning planning stages, from there I provided wireframe mock ups for product owner approval before creating full, rich pages for the development team to build from.

Diet Chef (2011-2012)

Diet Chef is the UK's leading home delivery diet company with over 80,000 customers in the United Kingdom as well as thousands more in mainland Europe. As Web Designer for Diet Chef, I was responsible for updating and maintaining the website for our customer bases in the British Isles and parts of mainland Europe. This includes both the informational websites as well as the online stores. I also designed and distributed emails to approximately 250,000 existing and potential customers on a monthly basis.

Has Fernando Torres Scored For Chelsea? (2011)

A single serving page that sought to answer the question "Has Fernando Torres Scored For Chelsea?" It was a silly joke that became an interesting social media experiment as it's popularity exploded via me seeding single links on Twitter and Facebook. At it's peak it was attacting 60,000 unique visitors a day (usually following Chelsea matchdays) and in a 3 week period it racked up nearly 500,000 unique visitors from all over the world as well as over 70,000 shares on Facebook alone.

Best Buy Black Friday VIP (2009)

Best Buy Co., Inc. is a specialty retailer of consumer electronics in the United States, accounting for 19% of the market. In 2008 they created a contest in which one lucky winner would receive a $1,000 gift card and early access to their store on the busiest shopping day of the year. In 2009 I was tasked to build a competition microsite where customers could submit their entries.

Angels Without Voices was a charity event organised by Fiona McMillan for the ASSERT support group for people with Angelman Syndrome. Aside from the actual event, there was also a book and CD release to help raise funds for the charity. I created and maintained the website leading up to the event.

Bank of America Corporation, based in Charlotte, North Carolina is the largest financial services company in the world, largest bank by assets, second largest commercial bank by deposits, and (previously) third largest by market capitalization in the United States. Prior to the housing market downturn of 2007 I was responsible for creating newsletter emails for the Wholesale Mortgage department and distributing them to their brokers.

The Biltmore Company in Asheville, North Carolina, owns and operates 8,000 acres (32 km²) of land and business including Biltmore House, the largest private home in North America, a fully functioning Winery and a 4 star hotel. I was responsible for creating the email template that could be reused by all Biltmore brands.

Georgia Power is an electric utility headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and is the largest of the four electric utilities that are owned and operated by Southern Company. I was charged with redesigning the outdated Economic Development section to bring it in line with the newer look and branding of the Georgia Power website. My layout has mostly been kept intact with the latest revision of the website design.

Lucas Associates Inc is a multi-national recruiting firm who has successfully met the workforce needs of Fortune 1000 companies, regional businesses and entrepreneurial firms for the past 35 years. The Lucas Group has been partnered with The Wall Street Journal and CareerJournal.com since 2002. The alliance allows access to the best and brightest talent in the marketplace, enabling their associates to offer incomparable recruitment services to clients. I helped create 3 shell layouts that went into building this website as well as integrating Lblog into the layout to serve as an updateable knowledge centre.

Boot Camp for a Cure was developed as a single boot camp series in which the proceeds would benefit the American Cancer Society. I was solely responsible for the creation of this site.

TrainStrong.com was the online presence of TrainStrong which was established in 2005 as the innovative vision of its founding team, which reflects a diverse mix of business expertise, fundraising experience, and an unwavering commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles. Train Strong traces its roots to Triathlon One, an Atlanta-based firm that specializes in building the triathlon community.

This project involved almost the entire workforce of Goods For You! as it was an expansive project that had to be delivered in very little time. My part of this project was to build out a site shell, input content, create miscellaneous graphics and co-ordinate with the Web Production Manager to ensure the SQL database displayed the correct information on the appropriate pages as well as developing a back-end administration area so franchise owners could manually update their information.

Goods For You! were former employers of mine and my first task during my tenure with them was to implement the redesign of their website to be a more user friendly site that would also be CSS driven. I followed layouts and style guides from the Art Direction team to create a simple yet effective website. In fact, part of my interview process was to create the newly designed index page from a PSD file with no direction at all.

McJennLaw.com is the website of McCarthy & Jennerich Attorneys At Law and was designed by The Birchwood Group, a New Jersey-based Internet Marketing Solutions company. For this website, I integrated the client's vision into a customised Coldfusion-based Content Management System. I also created several graphics and a Flash element, while striving to maintain the client's original design concept.

The U.S.S Sequoia was the official Presidential Yacht, which served nine US Presidents from Herbert Hoover to Jimmy Carter, who had it sold in 1977. After being sold to private ownership, it was made available for private charters. My involvement in this project was to maintain the client's design vision while importing it into RU Webby's proprietary Content Management System.

CarnivalTribe.com was the official site of the Trinidad & Tobago Carnival in 2005 and it was developed by Sugar Islands, a Trinidad & Tobago-based Web Development company. Because of the Flash elements that make up the backgrounds, integrating this website with the RU Webby Content Management System was rather complicated. I was responsible for ensuring its compatibility with the CMS while also remaining loyal to the original design.
